Dr. Bilal the Director, Office of Research Innovation & Commercialization (ORIC), Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Institute of Information Technology (SZABIST) conducted a session on the Potential areas of Research Linkages Coordination and Networking at Zia Uddin University Karachi on November 05, 2021.
Dr. Bilal started the session with the theory of Tea Ecosystem Friendship with the component InformaliTEA, CommuniTEA, ComfortabiliTEA, AvailabiliTEA, SentimentaliTEA, NormaliTEA. Faculty members and audience of Zia Uddin University appreciated the idea and take active participation in exploring the idea of “TEA” in the backdrop of coordination and Networking.
Dr. Bilal pointed out that most of the times Pakistan people assumed the potential of Pakistan in the form of challenges instead of opportunities. I will explained you in this lecture how much potential we have in the form of Human Capital.
Young Human Capital is the Blessing of Pakistan as out of total population 64 percent is below the age of 30 and 29 percent is between the ages of 15 to 29 years. Total population of 221 million out of which 142 million are below the age of 30.
If we invest on young people and produced youth incentive policies then we can take advantage of demographic dividend. He said there are 232 countries around the globe out of which 223 countries have lesser population of 142 million.
Similarly, if we consider the population of Pakistan as an opportunity and produce industrial products for them. We have a greater chance of success in getting the advantage of economies of scale.
Dr. Bilal compared the potential of Human Capital with Netherlands, New Zealand, and many other countries and analyzed the Human Capital Index, Global Innovation Index. He said Capital incentive policies can lead Pakistan in getting due share of economy in the global context.
Dr. Bilal concluded the session on the note to consider blue collar jobs as a policy intervention. Director ORIC Zia Uddin University Dr. Zulfiqar Ali Umrani presented the note of thanks to Dr. Bilal for conducting such a valued session in Zia Uddin University.
